What does HRALXSYNC do?

Hi. We replicate HR data from 4.7 to SRM 4, and are about to go to ECC 6 and SRM 5.

We use the classic scenario.

Does anyone know what exactly program HRALXSYNC does?

By reading the documentation it seems to say it sync's the addresses of BPs and central persons.

Is that all it does? If that is all why do we need it in the classic scenario? The addresses are not used for anything.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi. Thanks for that. So effectively all it does is create business partners from HR data and keep them syncronised?
