Dear All,
I have got an ECC 6.0 System running on Sun solaris 9.0.database is oracle 10.2 g.
The system is responding slow.
After installation I had run SGEN and changed some parameter value from RZ10:
Parameter Value
abap/buffersize 450000
zcsa/table_buffer_area 50000000
zcsa/presentation_buffer_area 5400000
When checking the system from ST02, it can be seen that in SWAPS column the numbers are comming huge.
Buffer
Nametab (NTAB)
Table defination/ Hit Ratio /Swaps
Table Defination / 90.74 / 3025270
Field Defination / 90.57 / 4052510
Initial Records /72.49 / 735478
Program / 48.76 / 1162133
CUA / 99.28 / 576
Tables
Generic Key / 96.34 / 2627
Single record / 55.31 / 90
Please suggest.....
Any help will be highly appreciated.

This is normal after an SGEN run since the system loads ALL programs into the memory (and thus buffers) and regenerates them and thus fragmenting the buffers. Restart the system.
