If it is scripts

Use Italics Character format for the words you want in Italics and normal paragraph format for the remaining words

<i> Text </> <i> < </> square box <i> > </>

I have to do it in scripts only and i have a para graph format which dont have italics as P and character format <IT> for italics and i wrote

<P> <IT>TEXT</> <Square symbol>

but still my output is

i suppose,

instead of making paragraph format,

u hv to create character format, i.e. C1 with italic

that should be applicable for u r requirement..

*<C1>TEXT < / >* <square box>

Hope it will work,

just create 2 character formats, i.e. C1 with italic

c2 with normal

*<C1>TEXT < / >* <c2><square box></ >

Hope it will work,
