Hi,

pre go-live issues:-

1)Check the master data (CMR &MMR) and upload with any of the tools like LSMW,SCAT,or BDC.

2)check whether all the user manuals are prepared.

3)Be sure that the endusers are aware of the fulctionality of their related areas.

4)Make sure all of all the cyclyes are working properly in the test system before going to live.

5)Be prepared to upload all the open items into the SAP system.

6) check whether all the TR's are sucessfully got released to production.

Post go-live issues:-

Most of the issues in post golive will comes from the following areas.

1) out put smartforms ( which doesnt trigger properly or going to dump)

2) accounting entries doesnt hit properly due to wrong maintaince.

3) picking of wrong pricing records due to wrong maintainance of access seq.

4) "Z" report layouts.

The above mentioned are some of the issues pertaining to Go-live as per my experience.

Reward points if it is helpful.

Regards,

Mallesh.

hi

Generally after Realisation Phase , GO Live phase will take place

In Go Live Phase , Master data will be uploaded through LSMW or BDC.

In Go Live phase only , CUT OFF DATE will take place

CUT OFF DATE - In cut off date, all transactions will be stopped,at the clients place and all master data like CMR ,MMR , G/L accounts etc are uploaded from non sap system to sap system, Generally it will be for one week.

after this Go Live phase, Post Go Live Phase will take place and in this phase the end user will start the transactions using sap

this phase will be generally for 1month , because, all consultants have to cross check wheather , G/L accounts are properly triggering in the SAP system or not and even any problems are taking in the master data or not.
