Namespace Problem

Hi gurus,

I am facing an issue in terms of name spaces. Can any body please suggest me the solutions for the below problems.

1. I am not able to create a name space http://xml.avaya.com/diamond/schema/2007/07/NotificationAndResponseService in my S/W componene because of its length. It doesn't allows to create such a bog namespace. Can any body please suggest me if there is any alternative available?

2. I have used few data types from another nameapace in my message type. But when i change the default name space of this message type, it changes the namespace of those data types too which i don't want. I just want to change the name space of my message type but not its underlying parameters.

I will appriciate if you can please solve these.

Create the message type in another namespace and set the XML namespace of the message type to http://xml.avaya.com/diamond/schema/2007/07/NotificationAndResponseService

In PI the namespace is always derived from the message type. If you want different namespaces in one message, you need to create an WSDL with an external tool and upload this to PI.

Hi Kulwant,

Check the length of ur namespace it should not be more that 60 character length.

It wont allow you to create the namespace with above length.You have to reduce the name space length by using shortnames. You cannot have a namespace with more than 60 characters.
