Hello,

When you are creating a delivery with reference to the order, you are not entering any data except picking qty, the system copies the data from the sales order, because there is a copy control has been setup for the delivery document from the sales order. Like this delivery to billing, billing to order.... etc...

COPY CONTROL

You can specify for a particular sales document type, which document type is to be assigned to copied reference documents, and which item categories or schedule line categories are to be copied.
