rsdb/ntab/entrycount parameter

Hi All,

We are planning for the below parameter changes in our system.

The system has 3 instances and the physical RAM is 16GB for all the three instances.

Paramaters/Description CURRENT VALUE

rsdb/ntab/entrycount 20000(entries)

rtbb/max_tables 500

rtbb/buffer_length 10000

zcsa/table_buffer_area 30000000

zcsa/db_max_buftab 5000

sap/bufdir_entries 2000

em/global_area_MB 300

rdisp/tm_max_no 200

gw/max_sys 300

enque/table_size 4096

Pls help us which could be the best configuration for the above parameters.

Hi

These values depend very much upon parameters like current and future user load, modules implemented and used etc.

As you have not mentioned any Specific version of SAP you are using, I am Assuming that you are on SAP R/3 4.7, for which recommended values are provided in the following link:
