ADD_FIXED_TOP_CELL method of class CL_WD_TABLE_COLUMN

Has anyone used method ADD_FIXED_TOP_CELL of class CL_WD_TABLE_COLUMN?

I assume that it should be possible to use this in WDDOMODIFYVIEW to create a header cell in a column that would remain at the top when you page down in the table, but I have been unable to get it to work. Sample code would be greatly appreciated.
