Hello experts.

I am getting an error and many information messages written on my DefaultTrace.trc file.

1) I would like to disable the writing of info messages in this file, because they are really telling me nothing important (or at least I do not find anything important in them, perhaps someone can tell me if there is?) and sometimes I miss important errors because of these messages. An example of such messages is:

We recently installed EP SP14 stack, which (besides many other corrections) supposedly took care of the error (I read it on another forum post I think) so that they would not appear anymore. However, we are still getting them. How can we solve this problem?

Question #2 is solved now, it was a parametrization problem which we discovered a few days ago.

However, I still have a problem with question #1. I don't think these messages have any important content (or if they do, can someone please tell me why they are important?), and in that case they should not appear in the DefaultTrace.trc file. Any way to get rid of them?

Hello,

Login into Visual Admin and do the following:

To change the preset log level, perform the following steps:

1. Call the Log Configurator service.

2. Select the Categories tab page.

3. Choose Applications -> Exchange Infrastructure.

4. Change the Severity to the required value.

I found this on :

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/64/0b59010a65de44be4f26cb57b9580d/frameset.htm

Hope that helps.
