How to convert key figure into characteristic in Bex

hi friends

I have a field Invoice number ,and using formula variable replacement path i have converted the invoice no characteristic field to key figure and i have done the req logic ,now my prob is in the display the invoice no is showing with commas(,).I tried adjusting with the properties but couldnt get it...can anyone plz help in this and one more thing i want to know is,is there any way for converting a key figure into characteristic...

hi john,

commas are properties of key figure.

in variables dimensions settings as number.

and keyfigure can not be converted in to characteristics .
