Hi experts,
There is an Inconsistency in time zone settings for client 000 and 100 in our system. The time zone in 000 is CET and 100 is INDIA. We need to change the time zone for 000 to india.
Kindly suggest how this can be done.
Thanks and Regards,
Amit.
thanks

Hi Kaushal,
Thanks for the information.
Yes, this is weird as the time zone setting should be client independent. I checked in the stzac tcode. While entering a messge is displayed "If you change the system time zone, it will affect all clients".
But in 000 it the value is 'CET' and in 100 'INDIA'.
Thanks and Regards,
Amit.

Hi,
i did not think so that two client have different timezone it's strange.
when you set timezone in one client it's affect to all client in the system
anyway you can change the timezone setting using tcode STZAC
since 000 client is not used as application client so no need to change time zone settings in 000.
if you still want to change timezone settings in 000
you need to open 000 client using scc4 .
then run STZAC tcode and change the timezone

kaushal

That's no Oracle problem. Please post the question in a more appropriate forum.
Thanks, Martin
