Hello all,
I need to run a program on a remote PC. I found out that I need to install SAP gateway on that PC, but I don't know what it is and how to configure it.
Is SAP Gateway an executable program?
Do I have it in my SAP GUI installation CD?
Does anyone know how to configure it in the PC, and how to manage it in the SM59 transaction.
Does anyone know?
Thank you
Finally we decided to use GUI utilities for running programs:
CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES->EXECUTE
and configure our local network so as to make visible to everyone the program we need to run on a specific PC.
Thank you anyway.

SAP application gw is part the standard installation kit ... You can install it as you install a new system (like a new application server) but selecting the corresponding option in the meny (gateway)
It will mainly install (part of) SAP kernel used for RFC purposes
