sales order error - has been archived

Hi friends,

I had a problem in sale order saving. When i create sale order and save, it will saving. after going delivery the it is showing error message sales order does not exist, then if i put in va02 it is showing sd doc is not in the data base or has been archived. So pls tell how to solve the same

Dear Es,

This problem usually occurs when there is a dump or an update termination during sales order creation. You can check this in ST22 or SM13 respectively.

The end result is that the sales order is not created.

For analysis, you would need the help of your ABAP colleague.

Dear Eashwar,

This happens due to the Number ranges overlaping, kindly create a seperate no range and do it. Or else this could even happen due to Document type copied from standard ones. SO you can change the document type and try it.

Hi,

Please check whether you have created really sales order document. Let us know what t.code and what document type you have created. U might have created document which is not sales order document types..
