Returns BOM - Item Category

Hi All,

For Returs of BOM Material, what could be the Item Category. For Forward Moement the Item Category group is ERLA.

Main item category = TAQ

Sub Item Category = TAE

For Returns what will be the Item category for the same.

For item category TAQ, REQ will be for returns. Not sure about TAE as right now I dont have SAP access.

can we use text RETX for the subitems?

Hi,

SAP wont allow:-

BOM returns & Free goods.

Hence therez no std item cat for BoM returns.

if you need this, U have to config for BoM returns-

Can i use customised REN for the same with different movement types.

You can use,

but maintain the relevant copy control settings between the doc's -

including strcuture scope in item category
