Dear Sandeep
Billing Documents:
The business creates invoices for the customer for the materials or services rendered. The billing process can be order- or delivery-related and may include the billing of standard deliveries as well as the creation of debit and credit memos.
The menu path here is-->IMG, Sales and distribution, Billing, Billing documents, Define billing types.
The billing document is similar to the delivery document in that it has header and item levels, but no schedule line level, as in the sales documents. Thus, one must configure the header document type and the relevant item categories.
Thank you.
Sadanand.

Dear sandeep
For the sales whatever you made to customer, you have to recover the money. In order to recover the sales amount, you raise a document which is called billing document.
