SAP Handling Unit

Hi All,

We have configured Handling Units to be generated through the packing process in the delivery. We use the handling units numbers to generate the UCC labels.

When the external warehouse interface send data, the picking happens correctly but the Goods Issue fails in SAP with a message of ' No status record found for HU xxx'

However if we manually do a PGI against the delivery, it is successful.

Has anyone faced this issue. Any pointers would be very helpful.

Perhaps you should check the format of the HU number given by the external interface. From the error message, it seems there is a mismatch between the format, and the system does not recognize the external HU number.

The Handling unit numbers are not sent in by the external interface - the interface from the WMS just sends in the quantity that was actually picked and then does the PGI in SAP.

The handling unit number in the error message is actually the internal HU number assigned by SAP.
