Hi, can anyone tell me what would be the responsibilities of production support project for DEMAND PLANNING and SUPPLY NETWORK PLANNING. I know that we create planning books, planning areas, forecast models, etc during implementation projects but can anyone let me know what all responsibilities are involved in production support projects.

Hi,

In production support our responsibility is based on the agreement done between client and your company.

Most of the time in the production support you have to resolve clients query/issue as per the SLA set up.

Here creation of any planning area, planning book is not expected to do...

Customization changes to be done only if any measure issue faced due to wrong custamization

As Anjali rightly said it will be as per the agreement with the client but following are some of the responsibilities in a support projects.

DP :

1. Master Data Maintenance- CVC Upload/deletion, Macros etc.

2. Planning Book- Data views.

3. CVC uploads/deletion.

4. Job Creation, execution and monitoring.

5. Performance issues.

6. Customization related.

7. User Support & Authorizations

SNP:

1. Master data maintenance(TLanes, PPMs, Resources, Product-Location etc.)

2. Profile and Variant maintenance.

3. CIF-Integration models activation/deactivation, monitoring, debugging.

4. Job Creation and Monitoring.

5. SNP Run Result analysis

6. Performance Issues.

7. Customization.

8. User support & Authorizations.
