ccBPM documentation

Former Member

Hi,

I've been playing ith ccBPM for several weeks but need a little more help. Can someone suggest any good books or articles that may be available. I've gone through SDN and although there are some interesting documents most are very short. What I want is a 'dummies guide' to BPM. I've searched Amazon and SAP Press but have yet to find anything.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hi,

As far i know there is no "book" as such on XI BPM.

What you can do is

try out some sample scenarios present on sdn itself

and also rely on sap.help.com

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/14/80243b4a66ae0ce10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

Thanks for the last couple of postings. I can research information on SDN as well as the next person. So copying the same blogs again and again isn't helpful. I've read all those many times before.

Thanks but I already have those blogs. As I said earlier I've researched SDN.

As I said in my earlier post I've gone through all the entries on SDN. Most are where people have pasted the content of other postings - such as the reply above -it makes it difficult to find anything worthwhile. I'm looking for something detailed that I can read through.

I appreciate your help.

Here is a clipping from the description of the books contents

Then follow the authors as they take you deep into the system with a series of practical exercises for the development and configuration of mappings, adapters, and proxies: RFC-to-File, File-to-IDoc, ABAP-Proxy-to-SOAP, and Business Process Management. Each exercise is rounded off by a description of relevant monitoring aspects. A step-by-step introduction to all the individual interface technologies used, which are then combined in a comprehensive case study - part of which is devoted to SAP's BPM Technology - makes this book an invaluable resource.

Hi krishna,

Yes - I have the SAP XI & SAP XI for Developers book. Both give a reasonable overview, the SAP XI book explaining ccBPM quite well, but it's the detail I need. I come from a Microsoft .NET environment and I'm used to MS Press and ROX - both providing a multitude of books on each subject. SAP press seem to recycle their training material. IN fact the SAP XI BOOK refers to 'course material' throughout.
