entire CPU-cabinet replaced - will license still work?

The CPUs of our Production server (iSeries - often known as AS/400) will be upgraded this week-end.

The hardware people have explained that the current CPU-cabinet will be replaced by a new one.

The existing disks will be connected to the new CPU-cabinet.

The serial number will be the same as before - so they say.

The IP-addresses will be the same as before.

The big question is: will the existing SAP license still work as before?

This is SAP NetWeaver, Basis release 7, on i5/OS (often known as OS/400) V5R4M0.

Hi Peter,

YES, no problem at all ))

You ONLY need a new license, when the value QSRLNBR changes ....
