Hi,

replies above are helpful, but I have some concept confused as following:

(1) item condition types in sales order are determined by pricing procedure in IMG, for which condition records can be configured in condition master data . is that right ?

(2) head condition types in sales order are entered manully . I can't configure condition record in condition master data. is that right?

(3) how is the group condition type used for item ?

thanks very much!

1) Right

2) You could create a Header conditon record but it won't be determined during pricing as it has no access. In standard pricing, the automatic condition access occurs only at item level of the document.

3) If Header condition is set as a Group condition, then the amount entered on the header is distributed proportionally .

For a header condition with calculation type 'Fixed Amount', the amount entered on the header condition screen is duplicated in each item if the condition is not set as a group condition.

addign to above:-

header condition is applicable to whole document.

Header condition amount will be distributed proportionally into all item with in the document.

Hi

They are totally different. The Header condition types will not have access sequence. You cannot create condition records for the Header condition type unlike item conditions.

Thanks,

hi,

header:

If this condition is marked as a header condition, it is possible to enter the condition type in the header condition screen. Checks for changing the condition manually are unaffected by this.

the header conditions calculate the header value

item : conditions of this type are allowed to be entered in the document items. The condition is then only valid for the particular item in which it is entered.

item condition calculate at item level

(freight condition)for eg = HD00 is a header condition .here if you have 10 materials and this cond type calculates the freight charges for all the 10 items.

KF00 is aitem condition.here system caliculates the freight charges only for that particular items.
