Reports from solution manager

Hello All,

I plan to connect BI to solution manager and was wondering what types of reports I can get out? Anybody have any useful documents on this? Anybody done this and have any comments about it?

There are only three slides about it: 39, 40 and 41.

And I have another picture, where: The Central Performance History of the CCMS Monitoring Infrastructure collect data from the systems. The SAP Solution Manager collect EWA data from the servers. The EWA Data is used to others reports in Solution Manager. The EWA data goes to the SAP NW BI as a BW content, and the data from Central Perfomance History goes also as a BW content. From these BW Content, you get the BI queries...

Hi,

You can install import BI content 7.03 and install the SAP delivered contents Business content - RS_BCT_SM

You can do reporting for the following

E2E (Diagnostics)

EWA

Service Desk

BPM

CCMS DSR

CCMS CPH

Hi Ragu,

Cheers for the reply.

I have activated the business content for ccms and sol man.

But thought there may be some documentation to follow outlining the reports which are available, which I dont seem to be able to find.

Also would it be sufficient to assign the ccms business content to the solution manager system and get all the relevent monitoring data from there? Or would I have to connet to each one of the ABAP stasks seperatley?

hi ,

you can find the bw reports in the SolMan WorCenter or CCMSBISUITE.

But it give no reports for the dsr (ABAP) data.

Have someone create reports for the DSR ?

Hi,

Your Solution Manager or the server where you are executing CCMBISETUP should be CEN system, then you can get all the reports.

You don't have to connect your ABAP system separately if you have setup CEN.

The CCMSBISUITE gives only one web template. SAP is providing more templates from SP17.
