Hi Peter,

What option did you use to patch your system - Single Support Package/ Support package stack? Source/target releases of the system? According to the error it seems you've patching with JSPM SP12 , if you are going to update to SP greater than SP12 please apply JSPM first - sometime such NPE errors are resolved by most recent releases. And you could update JSPM even to the latest available on Service Marketplace(SMP) - SP15. The tool doesn't interfere with the engine - update is performed during uptime and it only file-system software package.

Some snippets from latest JSPM logs and traces would be helpful:

../j2ee/JSPM/log/<timestamp>/JSPM_MAIN_1_01.log

../j2ee/JSPM/trc/JSPM.TRC

Hope the above helps.

Regards,

Vasil
