Error 'The argument ' <000000000.00' cannot be interpre ted as a number '

We have created a generic datasource to get project systems module data using a function module.

we have replicated metadat in BI and craeted a DSO and Transformation for the same.

When we load the data in to Bi, we are getting the below error:

Error 'The argument ' <000000000.00' cannot be interpre ted as a number ' while assigning character to application structure

Message ID - RSDS 16

The data is not getting saved in PSA.

Hi,

You can achieve this by changing the load process.

In Infopackage --> Change > Processing tab> Only PSA (check this option) --> Update Subsequently in Data targets and Ignore Double Data records (Also check these options) and now save infopackage and load the data again.

Hi..

In the infopackage "General Attributes" Tab select the Check box

"PSA Not categorized". (This option will interpret all the fields as Character based fields).

Then schedule the info package.

Hi Verma,

I have proceeded with your answer for which i have faced the same error. I gone through the PSA level. But after that when i am trying to load to a DSO (Write-Optimized). Its giving the same error. Please tell me how to proceed with this.

Hi Venkat,

Go to Tcode: RSKC and give < in Permitted extra characters and execute.
