What are the Steps followed in creating output type for sending email whenever a delivery note gets created?

How do i configure delivery note to be sent via e-mail?

I think its the same way as the output for a sales doc..

try this way for the delivery docs:

Basic Functions --> Output Control --> Output Determination --> Output Determination Using the Condition Technique --> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents --> Maintain Output Types in Customizing for Sales and Distribution

Hi Joe,

You can create the output for email for the delivery document as follows.

1. Maintain email address in the customer master.

2. Then go to IMG>LE>Delvieries>Output determination>define output types for the deliveries.

3. Here you define the output type and maintain partner functiona s e-mail.

Here you require BASIS consultant help for the connections steps between SAP server and email server.

Once everything is done as and when you create delivery note an email will automatically goes to your customer.
