Hello Gurus,
what is key field and non-key field in the condition table ?
thanks very much!
The condition table contains the keys that can be used for creating dependent condition records.
Condition records are always created using a specific key.
For e.g. PR00 condition record has following keys to enter pricing record
- customer / material
- material
We use tables for help in defining the structure of condition record keys.
You can also add non-key fields to the condition tables. For e.g. see condition table 144. You would have an idea of keys & non key fields.
The key fields of a condition table must appear at the start of the table, in other words, non-key fields must not appear between any two key fields.

To add to the reply,
Key fields will be mandatory always.
Non-key fields are optional and thats why, there should not be any mixture of key and non-key fields in the access sequence.
Also only key fields can be header fields in a condition table.i.e. The fields at header needs to be filled while condition record maintanence.
Hope this helps.
Reward if it helps.
