while making the delivery system is allowing more than the STO

Hi,

We have a process of STo to the branches.

Once the STO is completed we will be making the Delivery through VL10B the system creates an outbound delivery document the quantity will be copied from the STO.

In the delivery document i can make a delivered quantity more than the STO quantity.

Is it possible to control delivery qty of my STO quantity only.

Dear Sunil,

Please check whether you are using any rounding quantity for that particular material.

Generally, for procurement we use rounding quantity to get the material in such lots. If you are using then you will receive material in multiples of rounding quantity. Based on your requirement you can decide whether to maintain rounding quantities or not.

By, changing the assignment in the item category your issue will be definetly solved, but in future if the customer or you own plant want more quantity than they ordered in this case this may hamper your requirement.

Go to 0vlp, select the item category and maintain "B" for Check overdelivery

This can be controlled using ITEM CATEGORY CONFIG

. For the delivery you are using , got the the delivery item category defination,

The path is

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> Logistics Execution-> Shipping -> Deliveries ->Define Item Categories for Deliveries -> Select The item category you are using ( NLN )

You can control the delivery quantity in Quantity tab by selecting overdelivey field and setting it as error
