Publish forecast to ECC

Hi ,

We are trying to publish the DP forecast to ECC. I wanted to know if we need the product master for those materials that we will be forecasting in ECC ? my questions is . Can we publish the DP Forecast to ECC even if the materials have not been sent across from ECC to APO either via CIF or any other means ?

You need materials transferred from ECC to APO as product. Without same product being in APO as in R/3 you cannot transfer forecast.

You need to CIF over the materials to APO from R/3 or else the transfer fails. The system has to map the material on R/3 side to Material on APO to start the transfer. You can schedule the job successfully but you can see the failure in the spool when you schedule the job.
