How to create a MRPcontroller in MRP

Hi guys,

can any one tell me how to give MRP controller

while creating a material for MRP(material requirement

Planning) iwas asked to give 0001

if i give MRPcontroller = 0001 its not taking

pls help me to find me a solution for this!

Hi

Create the MRP controller with reference to your plant in customizing under MM->Consumption-Based Planning-> Master Data -> Define MRP Controllers

Every material that is relative to the planning run must be allocated an MRP controller number in the material master record.

With the MRP controller, the materials are assigned to a person or a group of persons who is/are responsible for monitoring material availability. By using the number entered here, it is possible, for example, to select the planning result per MRP controller. The MRP controller can either be one person or a group of persons.
