Hi Vishal,

Move-in document is the one when the customer moves into a location where the company has its services and he is ready to avail them, then a move-in document is created for him and billing is done based on that.

Similarly, when a customer moves out from a location and does not not want to avail the services, then a move-out document is created and final invoice is also generated.

For the relation between the move-in and move-out,use the T-code CAA3.

I hope I have tried to answer your question to the best of my ability.

Do let me know in case you have any further queries.

Regards,

Puneet Jhari.

Hello,

1.Identify and choose customer and Contract

Here you have to identify the Contract Number for which you have to create Move out..This should be available in your test script.

2.Enter Move Out date

Mention the date on which your customer is moving out. This date should be later than the Move- In date. for ex...if you have created Move- in document on 01.04.2008, your move-out should be later than 01.04.2008.

3.Update final billing address

To generate final bill, specify the address of the customer if it is different from current address.

4.Create Order or enter Final Meter Reading results

Use EL28

5.Create Contact

I'd assume that your Contract is already created.

You need to verify in the script for master data details

Hope this helps

Hello,

Move in :

You use the move-in function to carry out most of the activities required to begin providing a business partner with a utility service. You create new, or change existing business master data. Most importantly, you allocate a contract to an installation.

In move-in processing, you establish whether a contract can be billed. From the move-in, you can also trigger the charges levied at the commencement of a utility service, as well as a welcome letter to the customer

Move-out

You use the move-out function to carry out most of the activities required to terminate a business partner’s utility service. You make changes to the business master data of the business partner as necessitated by the move-out. The most important change is that the allocation of a contract to an installation is terminated on the move-out date.

Hope this helps

Hello,

The Linking up of Techical Master Data with Business Masterdata is called Move-in. To make it simple, if a customer is changing his aparment from ap1 to ap2, then all the billing related data of the customer has to be moved out from ap1(in SAP) and is moved in to ap2.

To get it in detail search www.help.sap.com
