Which customization processcopy control is used,please give me some idea regarding this.

In Std SAP only 6 types of copy controls are possible

VTFA - Sales to Billing

VTLA - Sales to Delivery

VTAA - Sales to Sales

VTFL - Delivery to Billing

VTFF - Billing to Billing

VTAF - Billing to Sales

The advantage of copy control settings are it controls the flow of data from one document to another at header & item level. Incase of Salas to sales & Sales to delivery, it also controls the flow of data from schedule line.

We should ensure that Item Category being used in transaction is configued at Item level in copy control, else it will give an error & will not allow to process subsequent document.

Hi

In the sales process we have to create many documents in sales - shipping - Billing. In this process we create documents with reference to the preceeding documents to enable fast entry and also to avoid errors while creating documents. To enable this we have to configure the copying procedure and specifying the controls for copying.

Tcodes :

VTAA - Copy controls from sales document - sales document(eg IN - QT, QT-OR)

VTLA - Copy controls from Sales Document - Delivery Document (OR - LF)

VTFL - Copy controls from Delivery document - Billing Document (LF - F2)

VTFA - Copy controls from Sales Dcoument - Billing Document (OR - F1)

VTAF - Copy control from Billing Document - Sales Document (Invoice - Returns order)

You have to mainatain copy controls both at header level and item level. To control the copying different routines are used.
