doubt in fiels status group

hi.

iam new to sap,we generally copy 0001.if it get along with the package or not.suppose if it not there how can we create new field status variant for our company code

hi,

u cannot create a new one.

0001 is a standard one it will be compulsaryly given when u buy that sap software.

all the feild status variant will be defined by them ...we use that according our requirment.....

field status variant controls the master data settings......

by copying that we will create a new one change............

if useful assign points.......

Hi,

You can create FSV on your own but FS groups you have to copy from standard groups only.

Hi,

FSV 0001 comes with the standard package. If you wanted to modify the same, it is advised to copy the same & modify it.
