Hello Guru

we have just finished upgrading from 4.7 to ecc6 sr2 and now we wantt to do remote client copy from this system to a newly installed system ECC6 sr2.So we are facing some errors with some tables on the source system which doesnt exist on the the newly installed not upgraded.

So we tried to transport those tables and some managed to go through but others are coming up with error : Table Def .Missing Locally

Is there another way of copying them a cross other that creating them manually on the new system?

Any ideas welcome

Hello,

To perform client copy between systems, they should be at the same release and SP level.

If there are any tables missing in the target system, then transport the table definition to the target from source system. Then perform client copy.

You can perform a test copy to check for any errors.

If the tables are Z tables and not relevent any more in the newer release, then you

can exclude them from copy. See note 70290 fo the detials.

If helpful reward points.

HI,

those table are z/y tables or standard sap table?

if it is customer specific table ( i.e Z/Y table ) then make sure before transporting table you have to transport

customer specific data types and domain to target system

if it is standard table then make sure the support package level on both system are same.

Hi,

if standard table are missing

check the support package level on both system. if it same then its looks like some configuration has taken place which automatically configures and generates objects in the source system and it seems this has not been performed on the target system

in this case you need to consult your functional team.

or safest and easiest way perform system refresh
