Hi,

in alv report to display top of page we use alv event.suppose if we use top-of-page event of classical report & alv event top-of-page-form which one will trigger frist.

1st i wrote top-of-page.

2) i wrote top-of-page-form.

top-of-page-form will trigger first. and top_of_page won't trigger at all because there is no write statement in any alv report.

i have one more query can u give me the difference between 4.7ee and 6.0 versions that is wht r the changes they made from 4.7 to 6.0

Hi,

ECC6.0 comes with the latest LETWEAVER components like EP,XI,WAS,CAF,LCM,BI etc

and some Vertical modules like Real estate are included

Where as 4.5 B all these will not be there.

Some new BAPI's and FM are included,

The screen is different means where we write coding.

U can Choose SAp Netweaver as Solution Are.It is the main thing which has seen a lot of changes in 6.0

hi ,

in classical report when ever it trigger first write statement it will goto TOP-OF-PAGE .

where as in alv grid

it is handled by events if u maintain the events then

when ever it trigger the events funtion module iwill bring it while run time.

do you know the difference between classical & alv's top of page events....just check once:

in alv we use TOP_OF_PAGE

in classical TOP-OF-PAGE.

Hi,

In case of classical report, the Top of page event is triggered only at the first WRITE statement...

But in ALV it will be triggered while displaying an ALV report output...

i.e in alv report after displaying the output list top of page will trigger.

but in my alv report if i use both events.which one will trigger first
