test connection is working good
but remote logon is not working .
it is giving error like this
you are not authorized to usee function network administation.
iam using ecc6.0
destination system is XI system .
what is the problem.
with regards
srikanth vipparla
Goto the destination system(i.e your XI).
Goto transcation SU53.
Check whether the last authorisation was failed or successful.
if failed please assign the required object to the user.
object will be displayed on the screen.

Hi Srikanth,
First test for authorization test.
Goto 'Utilities' menu -> Test-> Authorization test.
If it fails the error will be displayed.
It may cause due to date expired for the author or assign author required roles.
Another option is try with the user who have this authorization and create the RFC again.

Raghu

Hi,
guess it's better to use a service user in this case and then the remote login isn't working but that isn't a problem.
If you use a dialog user and your connection test works, but not your remote login it's maybe not a problem.
Just try to use your RFC connection like it is and it should work, even if the remote login doesn't.

you don't have rights to create RFC destinations.

Hi Srikanth,
I had come across a similar problem,
the solution to which is that sufficient authorisation is not available with the particular ID.
So, try doing the same with another ID where the authorisation for the same has been provided for the credentials.
Hope it helps!!!!

You need to provide logon details of the XI system in the r/3 system (sm59).
Try providing the same.

Hi,
you should try to call the rfc with a service user:
