Forecast release from DP to SNP in various Version

Hi all,

I would like to know how do I release the Forecast from DP to SNP in a Version other than the Active one.

I have created the new Version & Initialized the same,but I need to Understand where do I find the New Version for DP,how do I upload the Forecast in the New Version & the release the same to SNP in the new Version.

Kindly throw some light on this topic.

Hello Vishal,

For Forecast to be released from a version in DP to SNP you need to have data in your "copied" version in DP.

Go to your DP planning book. In the selection window choose the "copied" version and the location_product for which you want to release the forecast.

Load it in the planning table and put some values under the "key figure" from which you release your Forecast from DP to SNP and save it.

Now release demand using transaction MC90 from DP to SNP

Demand Plan output is independant of planning version,you can specify any version in target other than active version while realeasing demand plan to snp.
