RG1 initial updation

Dear All,

I have uploaded stock of 1st april as opening stock in table J_2IRG1BAL.

This stock was uploaded in system by 561 movement.

Then I created sales excise invoice of the material which was there in the stock.

Now my question is how to update RG1.

i.e. whatever opening stock i entered in table directly should get updated while doing J1I5 on its own and I need not select classification ROP or RMA. Again in J1I5 when I select classification as IDH, system should allow me to stimulate this and make register entries, BUT THE SYSTEM is not allowing me to do this. When I click stimulation, it becomes red.

Can someone help me on this urgently.

Dear Avnesh,

To get a green signal after stimulation in J1I5 two things are necessary

1. Proper entry of material in J_2IRG1BAL.table.

2. In J1ID, Maintainable of material for 'Material & Chapter ID Combination'. It is as follows -

Entry in J_2IRG1BAL is as per requirement.

Ch id is maintained for the materials too.

Let me know even what has to be done for those materials whose initial stock was zero?

Materials whose initial stock is '0', will be handled in regular operation, when stock is produced or procured. J_2IRG1BAL is not required to be done for it. J_2IRG1BAL is to intialize, which may not be done for all material in stock.

Dear Avnesh,

First select ROP as Indicater as this will update J_1IRG1 table & then use ISH etc....

else it will show red indicator...

But kindly let me know how I should update RG1 for those opening stock whose entry I have done directly in J_2IRG1BAL. Since when I go to update it by J1I5 for IDH its showing red signal.

Dear Avnish,

In J1i5 enter Co. Code, Plant & Excise Group,

Enter then Material Document Number u got after using 561 movement type in MB1C.

Enter Posting Date, ROP as classification, select document posting date or document Entry date & select RG1

press F8,

Hi

There is no provision for automatic updation of RG1. All stock uploads and Receipts from Production have to be updated manually by selecting the Classification Indicator ROP and RMA respectively (if you notice in J1I5, the Classification Indicator is mandatory).

The reason you are getting a red traffic light icon is because you were trying to update the issues (IDH) without first updating the receipts (ROP in your case)
