Table without horizontal lines (Smartform)

Former Member

I need to draw a table which has multiple rows - but there should not be any horizontal lines. This is a one-column table. So in effect, I just need a box around the entire table.

In the Table tab, I have tried multiple table templates but I still get horizontal lines. Or I do not get a box and horizontal lines.

Please give me specifics (like select 3rd template from left, ) as to how I can get a box without horizontal lines.

Thanks.

Hi,

New Comer

Create u r main window as per the Table width.. that u r table should exactly fit in the main window.. i.e. same width...

Double Click on Main Window

Now GOTO -

> Output Options

-------> Box and Shading

-----> Frames

-----> select check box Lines with

it will definitely work and suits u r requirement.

Thanks for your input. My Main window does not require boxes and lines. This is like a sub-table under the main window. Under my main window, I have a folder and in that folder I have a table. It is this table that requires a box without the horizontal lines.

Hi,

Newcomer,

As per u r requirement u need single column table.

Design u r table with drawing three cells.

Suppose u r drawing 10 cm table.

u r first cell will 0,30 cm and other column is 9.40 cm and other column is 0.30 cm .

Choose Header --- > Line tab -

> Line1

Select cell2 and create text --- > in the text u hv to draw line using the key ( shift and - ) i.e. shift and button - i.e. behind 0 .

Select footer --- > Line tab -

> Line1

Select cell2 and create text --- > in the text u hv to draw line using the key ( shift and - ) i.e. shift and button - i.e. behind 0 .

In main area u declare u r variable.

After this Proces..

double click on main window

-----> Choose Select Pattern ( Behind Outer Frame )

----> select Second Row 6th Pattern ( Don't choose option Display Framed Patterns)

it will work definitely.

But you have adjust Header and Footer text line Care fully.
