Barcode printing

Hi,

I have few questions on barcode printings, can anyone please help me with this.

1) As I read through other posts, SAP Help I understand that we need to install additional s/w on Printers to enable them for printing barcodes, but what if the user wants to print using the 'LOCL' option, we do not have contro on what printer he prints. How to handle such things

2)Does a print preview of a Form is really dependent on the Printer, or its the same for all printers?

Hi,

it is all SPAD - spool setting.

We need to design the page format, format type, device type and Output Devices.

The barcode application entirely depends upon the scenario which ur working in to ..if u r planning to print material or bin or pallaet label there is a printer called zebra printer and designing the label requires certain steps needs to be followed.

For specially printing barcodes there are many printers avaialble.. In order to make the person choosing the local printer make ur barcode printer as a default one..consult with your basis person they can make it in SPAD.

No the print preview is uniquely depends upon the way ur have designed ur smartform or script ,the preview option is no way related to ur printer
