Display only version of RSA6 in BI

Hello All,

Can anyone possibly give me some guidance as to how to make a display only version of tcode RSA6 in BI? I have a user who does not want to be able to update any datasources. There are no standard authorizations that are tied to this tcode that provide the ability to make it display only. There is a pencil icon on the toolbar, but I would think that will require a coding change to make that optional.

Any words of wisdom is appreciated.

Hello.

I don´t think you can do it, but you can do a workaround if it is possible.

If you deny the authorisation to the User to Objekt S_CTS_ADMI value TABL, then i think the User should not have the possibility to change.

You can test it, i´m not sure it will works.

This is because when you change a Datasource then you need to create a Transport.
