sequence numbers for PI sheet table lines

Can some one help me on how to create sequence numbers for the table lines in PI sheet?

Example: If we are taking multiple goods receipts and for each receipt we are creating a table line in the PI sheet. We wanted to have number 1 for the first line and when we create the second line it should be 2 and so on.

We tried it by counting a variable in the goods receipt table line, but when ever we add a table line, it is giving the total number of lines for all the table lines.

Example:

We have taken a variable X, which is defined with characteristic PPPI_VARIABLE.

Then we put the out put text as # with characteristic PPPI_OUTPUT_TEXT.

Then we defined the out put variable as X_COUNT for the characteristic PPPI_OUTPUT_VARIABLE.

This is giving the total number of table lines for all the table lines.

can you explain what do u mean by "for each receipt we are creating a table line in the PI sheet"?

Hi,

We can take the goods receipt in multiple lots for the same batch.

When you complete the previous step for the goods receipt, you can see that the table line for goods receipt was active and there will be a + sign under that table line. You can add as many table lines as you want and can receive the material in as many lots as you want.

So, for each receipt, we wanted to have sequence numer.

Hi Rajesha,

What we mean to say is the instruction that we have for the goods receipt message is a repeated data request. So we can add as many table lines as we want to receive the material in different lots for the same batch.
