Block planning in SNP

Hi,

Anyone worked on the realizing a block planning in SNP? We would like to utilize the block resource availability in PP/DS and linkage in PPM in SNP. Any suggestion for a clean integration?

Hi

I am working with a SCM 2007 ( APO 5.1) Ramp Up project. In this latest release, the SNP Optimizer can be used to propose blocks for use in PPDS. There is seamless intergation of the block proposals from SNP to the resource master data.

Thanks for sharing the upcoming feature I can't access link. (I guess link is only for Ramp up customers).

Just curious to know how this feature works.

What happens in the next SNP planning run after SNP propose blocks ? Is there some flag to control SNP planning to use the existing blocks or propose new one?
