Error while creation of role menu

Dear All,

I am creating role for my functional team. In Menu, I want to copy the area menu W10T meant for IS Retail. But, it gives me following dump:

Runtime Errors CALL_FUNCTION_PARM_MISSING

Except. CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING', was

not caught in

procedure "MENU_AREA_F4_HELP_HIERARCHY" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by

a RAISING clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the exception would occur, the current program is terminated.The reason for the exception is:

When calling the function module "MENU_AGR_TREE_GET_SELECTED", one of the

parameters needed according to the interface description was not specified.

This parameter was "INPUT_DTLS".

I searched for notes but no help, google didnt work either for this dump for menu creation.

Any help please.

Hi,

I did not face this problem after applying latest SP in ECC system. Although couldn't find the exact solution.

Thank you all for your time. But problem still persists. I am in process to config. solman and after applying latest support packs expect this ABAP dump issue to get resolved.

Have you tried narrowing down the problem to only this area menu or does it happen if you attempt to change/copy any of your menus in your system?

What release is your SAP System?

I am trying to use the area menu "W10T" for SAP Retail, by directly assigning it as menu area in PFCG.

Release of my system is ECC6, BASIS release 7

can u explain exactly when u r getting this error

for ex- while copying the menu item from sap menu or while creating authorization profile or assigning users

Thanks for your reply Siddhesh. However, my problem is that I am unable to create a menu in pfcg at all. What I want is to set area menu for retail as default menu for my functional team.

Couldn't find any sap notes.
