group delivery with Bom

Hi

we have one issue, that is

we should create a singel delivery to a BOM meterial(Bom item and its components at a time).

if that is the BOM meterial delivery,

1.system should not allow to crete individuval(partial) deliveries.

2.if user try to delete any line item system should give a worning message

if user try to create individuval delivery system should not allow. how can we configure this group deliver for BOM ?

Hi,

If you want to combine a BOM items in the sales document so that they are delivered together, you can create a delivery group. If an item has more than one schedule line with confirmed quantities (for example, after an availability check) the system copies the date of the latest schedule line for this item and displays it on the delivery group overview screen.

When forming delivery groups, the system deletes the earlier schedule lines and copies their confirmed quantities into the latest schedule line.

If you need only full delivery, then set the same in the customer master 'partial delivery not allowed'.

Hi Prasanth thanks for ur reponse,

But alredy i checked group delivery in item category, and i taken already delivery group in order also, but system is allowing to delite the line items, not giving any error in delivery at the time of deleting.

Hi,

at the main item category level - tick the create delivery group indicator. you can go to VOV7 to make this setting.
