ECC 6.0 Delta

What is ECC 6.0 Delta. I know that ECC 6.0 is SAP version but i want to know what is Delta.

Delta is the technical term given to the added features that a newly released version of SAP contains, as compared to the older versions. For example: the added features in ECC 6.0 as compared to ECC 4.7 etc.

Thats why, when a consultant takes up an upgrade project for a company, he is required to do a Delta Customization, i.e., he needs to fill in the gaps in the business process which might arise as a result of the enhancements present in the new version.

There are specific delta courses held by SAP for consultants who wish to understand the added features and delta functionalities in SAP's new releases.

Hi

Delta is nothing but the difference between the old/previous version and the current version. This word delta also applies to the functinalities.
