Hi all,
I am trying to read a file from Z:\ that is actually pointing to a network drive of another machine.
However i am getting the error Configured source directory 'Z:\xxx' does not exist.
I am running Windows Server on both machine. I have map the network folder to Z:\ in the PI server.
Any advice?

Hi,
We can use the Transport Protocol as NFS or FTP.
In yoyr case it is not FTP.
If you want to use NFS means that file should be in the Application server( AL11) either in in XI or SAP R/3 level also.
Or it can be in any of the location of XI's OS level.
So in your case these two are not .
So you can configure the Local Machine as FTP Server and Use FTP Protocol

hi,
1. check proper authorizations for accessing that folder.
2. Can you check whether you can access the folder from PI Server using window "run" command.
Also i think,
If you accessing the shared location in the network
the path would be "
<system name of the shared location>\<foldername>"
