What is the maximum size of data that we can transfer through XI? What will happen if the data exeeds the limit and what we have to for this condition?

Hi,

it depend of your system...

in my case we had no problem under 50 Mo (for XML message) after that we are facing to a Timeout either in AE or in IS.

A solution again Timeout can be to change the Timeout parameter, but...

Hi,

It depends on so many parameters.

1. Version of XI you are using.

2. Hardware Dependencies like Physical RAM and Virtual memory

3. Operating System on which XI is installed.

4. Instruction set 32 bit or 64 bit

5. Tunning you have done in XI(basis person)

If data exceeds that XI can handle then do chunking either on the application side or at adapter level.
