I am at the final stage to install and migrate our 32bit sql 2000 ECC 6.0 to 64bit sql 2005.
The strategy I have followed thru sandbox, dev and qa
is to install sql 2005 from vbs file, then install ecc 6.0, then i have used r3load to extract from the 32bit installation and then imported into the ECC 6.0 on the 64bit sql 2005 server.
I have maintained the SID names for simplicity, only change the server names. And of course the OS and DB version (from 32 bit OS to 64bit OS AND from sql 2000 to sql 2005)
I have completed the following
1. JDK and JCE installed using domain AD account
2. SQL 2005 installed using .vbs file using domain AD account
3. in progress to install ECC 6.0 for MS SQL unicode 64bit OS
The error occurs (and I did not have this error in previous installations???)
MDB-05700 <p> MS SQL server cannot get information about account CITYACCT\ecpadm. <br>USE the MS SQL Server tools to execute command master..xp_logininfo 'CITYACCT\ecpadm' and <br> analyze the errors returned
,,,,
....
Grant)sLogin was executed with status ERROR
I tried the command but it did not return anything I can make sense of.
What have I missed????
My cutover is this weekend, I am just doing as much preparation ahead of extracting from the 32bit producton server friday nite at cutover as possible...
Any advise??
thanks
maria
