question on using BAPI_TIMEQUOTA_GETDETAILEDLIST

i want to know from where do the dates that go in the below fields come from??

in BAPI_TIMEQUOTA_GETDETAILEDLIST

KEYDATEFORENTITLE (Key date for entitlement) and

KEYDATEFORDEDUCTION (Key date for deduction)

from which infotype..what fields? or anywhere else.

pls advice

Think KEYDATEFORENTITLE (Key date for entitlement)

KEYDATEFORDEDUCTION (Key date for deduction) - both from joining date. moreover deduction check the quota valididty period too.

Thanks for the lead, but i guess its the begin and end of Infotype 2006 not the begin date of employee.

also there are two more fields DEDUCTBEGIN and DEDUCTEND which again come from IT2006.(Deduction from

Deduction to)

maybe someone can confirm if i am right.

Yes u r right, but depends on the business. For eg EL will entitle after completing the year means then the entitlement date is from it2006 and if the SL in entitlement from the date of joining means its from joining date moreover the same date will maintain in it2006.

Deduciton dates are also from it2006 depend on the valididty period settings in the generation rules,
