NOT ABLE TO PROCESS QA32 .

Dear All ,

As i m in QA32 to process a goods for qualirt inspection, so as i clicked on results tab on top im getting an information that -

> " Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot 010000002957 "Message no. QE181

Diagnosis

You cannot record any characteristic results for this inspection lot. The material master has been set up for the existing inspection type in such a way that results recording is not supported.

Procedure

Confirm defects for this inspection lot or select another inspection lot in which you can confirm the characteristic results.

The problem is that in the material master for the inspection type you do not have "Check Chars" ticked on.

As a result you can only perform defects recording for the created inspection lot.

Check the tick box and create a new inspection lot and it should then work.

It will not correct the existing lot.

u r right i have done the changes in M. MASTER as u wrote , now it is done that i m able to record the results .

Hi,

Please create an Inspection Plan in QP01 for the combination of Usage and Inspection type.

Then you will be able to record the results.
