Sending mail with attachment

Hi

I am using the FileUpload element to browse for a file to send as an attachment. But the problem is when i click on the send button, after browsing, it goes to the init method of the view. So neither dooes the upload to the server take place nor is the mail sent.

I am using NWDS 2.0.16 with EP 6.

Can anyone help??

Cause of the problem:

The problem that you are facing; i think its due to the View property Lifespan, change it to framework_controlled or when_visible according to your requirement.
